Product Launch Event Photography
I had fun this week shooting a product launch event for Palo Alto Networks. After shooting the partner conference a few weeks back, the marketing team asked me if I would help with an event, which was the largest product release in the companies history. With multiple cities participating in a live event, hosted in the US by Craig Ferguson, I covered the London event, hosted at the wonderful Soho Hotel in London.
It was a great experience to work as part of a wider production, I had to shoot and edit on the fly, rather than just shoot and then edit at the end, which added a new dimension to my event photography. It was also a good challenge to be provided with specific directives from the team on what they wanted to capture at specific points, then having to find a way to quickly meet the brief.
After two events how at Firmdale Group hotels, I'm really loving what this hotel company is doing. The Soho Hotel has a fantastic style and ambience, it was a great choice of venue and I look forward to any opportunity to shoot in locations such as this.
